Johnny Unser, who is the founder of UNSERTIRE.COM, is the son of the
late Jerry Unser, the first Unser to race at the Indianapolis 500.
Jerry lost his life at Indy in 1959 His uncles, Bobby Unser Sr., and Al
Unser Sr., and cousin Al Unser Jr., continued the tradition, compiling
a total of nine wins at Indy. Johnny Unser began racing full-time,
after completing his education at California State University.

Johnny is a ten year veteran of the IndyCar series and during that
time competed in five Indy 500's. He has won championships in the
American IndyCar series and has won the 12 hours of Sebring. He has
competed in the 24 hours of Daytona nine times and finished second in
the 24 hours of Le Mans. He has won the grueling Winter ALCAN 5000 mile
rally three times and has competed in the Baja 1000.

Johnny currently does precision and stunt driving for the film
industry. He is also a partner in Precision Dynamics (www.pdiusa.net) a
company which does vehicle evaluations and testing for all the major
automobile suppliers. PDI supplies professional drivers for corporate
sales training and ride and drive programs.

For the past five years Johnny has been a spokesman for Cooper Tire,
besides representing the company Johnny works with various departments
including design and testing, marketing, advertising, motorsports and
sales. Johnny spends a lot of time at the Cooper Tire Test Center in
San Antonio, Texas working with designers and engineers developing and
testing new products for Cooper Tire.
